In the interest of full disclosure, I am not an economist in the strictest sense of the word (undergraduate degree in econ and then flaked out of grad school in the first semester), but I do tend to know what I'm talking about. Other than that, the quotation at the top of the page (either the quotation itself or the fact that I'm the kind of person who actually quotes himself) pretty much sums it up.
